TRON: Catalyst
The next trip into the world of TRON is now set down with a release date given to us for TRON: Catalyst
Having only been announced near the end of last year, one could think that TRON: Catalyst might still be a bit of way out from actually launching. You would not be wrong in thinking that given how most announcements to releases go. It does kind of follow the same suit here, with the difference being that Bithell Games and Big Fan Games are gearing us all up to head back into the world of TRON sooner than we might have assumed. Less than a year from when the game was announced, we will be seeing this one hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on June 14th. Still a few more months for us, but not the multiple years that can come with recent announcements that we normally get.
Locking in that release date for us is nice, but we all know we like getting a bit more gameplay to go along with that. That is kind of something we also have for TRON: Catalyst to share too. Although, it does feel like things feel a bit zoomed out, if that makes sense when looking at it. That being that we are way into the overhead shot that we are going to have in the game and it feels harder to make out much beyond the pretty colors and lighting in the world. That is kind of what TRON is known for, but it is usually nice to see how we will be fighting back against all of the glitches and not just see how it is going to be told to us from the 2D character animatics we have. Take a look for yourself just a little lower down the page to get an idea of what I am talking about. Maybe this will be slightly shifted once the game does launch in June and we are not just seeing it through a different lens.

TRON: Catalyst releases 2025 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, & PC.
Big Fan Games together with developer Bithell Games in collaboration with Disney Games, announced TRON: Catalyst, a thrilling, story-driven isometric action game set in the world of Disney’s TRON. Continuing the story of the Arq Grid, first introduced in TRON: Identity by Bithell Games, TRON: Catalyst will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2025.
In TRON: Catalyst, players are introduced to Exo, a highly resilient and resourceful program with an incredible ability to initiate time loops. With this newfound power, Exo takes on the overlords of a crumbling Grid all while evading Conn, a malevolent agent of CORE. Exo must gain control over her mysterious abilities and uncover the unexplained ‘Glitch’ that threatens the Grid.
As Exo, players will battle on-foot and on Light Cycle to complete missions and gain crucial insights that will help them on their quest. While learning from her mistakes, Exo will also need to navigate warring factions to unlock new paths and uncover the secrets of the Arq Grid.
