Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection Dives A Little More Into The Game’s Difficulty

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection

A new developer diary for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection talks about out they keep the same difficulty for Ghosts ‘n Goblins yet still make it accessible

We have already brought up how hard Ghosts ‘n Goblins has been in the past and we have had a few bits of information fall out there about how this Resurrection from Capcom will keep it going. Now, we have a deeper dive into just what that will all mean for the game here and all of us that are looking to add it to our Switch on February 25th. There is a new developer diary out there for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection that shows off the four different difficulties and just what that might mean for those out there that just want to experience the story or go through the hell that the game has to offer up. It looks like there will always be a mode for you no matter what you want to do.

If you are unfamiliar from before, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection will have four different difficulties in the way of Legend, Knight, Squire, and Page. Each in that order will move from the punishing version of the original title down to the story mode style of it all. All of this will be handled with the number of enemies you will face in each area and the amount of damage you can take before seeing Arthur beaten down into his boxers as we have seen many times of the life of the Ghosts ‘n Goblins IP. It looks like there even might be multiple hits before losing pieces of armor along the way to help add in a little bit more of a reprieve to it all too. Hopefully making this just as punishing as it will be accessible for gamers.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection — Dev Diary #3 – Difficulty ‘n Challenge

In our latest Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection dev video, producer Peter Fabiano discusses the game’s difficulties ‘n dangers, and how the team aims to recreate the classic GnG challenge that the series is known for!

Have you figured out which difficulty you will be giving a chance when it launches next week? Do you think it will be easier or harder than the past Ghosts ‘n Goblins titles? How many hits do you think we will get when playing on Page mode and will it be worth it to even try for a basic challenge? Tell us your thoughts down in the comments. I will keep adding what I can for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection as it flows out there. We will have one more developer diary to add to the mix before launch, so please keep an eye out for that too.
