The second episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy has been given a date and it looks like we are getting more of the Guardians Of The Galaxy’s backstory

It looks like things may be going back to back for those Telltale Games titles now as it looks like we have a release date for the second episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy. As it stands, we will be seeing this new episode, title Under Pressure, on June 6^th for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android devices. All at the same time and all to hopefully keep the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise going. Not that it will need any help for a lot of those gamers out there who also happen to be a huge fan of the Marvel IP. It has had a lot of clout in recent days and looks to carry it all on just a bit further.

In this new episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy it looks like we are of course continuing on the story from before as the crew tries to deal with the new threat and just what to do with the new artifact that they have scavenged off of Thanos. If you’ve played the first episode of this Guardians Of The Galaxy experience then you know a bit of what is going on. But in the episode it looks like we are going to learn a bit more; specifically the backstory of Rocket in the universe that has only been explained a little bit in the comics and films that have made him a fan-favorite character just as Groot and the rest of the rogues we have here.

In “Under Pressure,” the Guardians just can’t seem to outrun the past (or their tab), but if they figure out how to control the untold power of their mysterious new relic, they might not have to. With help from dubious old friends and unwilling new allies, Star-Lord and company scour the galaxy for answers. But how long can they elude the genocidal maniac hunting them? And will simmering tensions finally tear the team apart?

And get ready to delve into a certain Rocket Raccoon’s past…

I’ll admit that this Guardians Of The Galaxy title has had a bit of a rough start in my neck of the woods as it seemed a little lackluster for me. This has been the case for other titles that Telltale Games has put out and then things go insane an episode or two out. I’m hoping that this will be the case here for Guardians Of The Galaxy; especially with the inclusion of more on the backstory of Rocket. I guess we’ll all know here real soon as June 6^th is only a little under two weeks out now. I’ll take it and hope for the best at this point.
