Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle
The next title in the Daymare line is announced with Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle coming to us in the coming years here
More horror is coming to us in 2022 with the announcement for Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle out there now. It looks like Invader Studios is continuing the flow of it all and bringing back H.A.D.E.S. into the mix of it all with the new third-person title that prequels their last title Daymare: 1998. All so we can try to survive more of these horrors from one of the most advanced research centers that have been created out there to do some insanely dark things. Yes, this is more of an inspired IP from a different and bigger one out there, but it works and I know we will not knock it for now. It will add one more title to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC so I will not be upset at it. Not to mention the name and look of it all that hits a nice little spot in my dark heart too.
There is not much more for Daymare: 1994 beyond this part of the announcement but we do have a fun cinematic trailer to look at for the game to get a feel for what it could be entailing. Given that it is also a prequel, we do not need to worry about what happened in Daymare: 1998 for this one but maybe it will better inform it all. We will be playing as Dalila Reyes here and I am sure that will fill in things that may have been floating out there in the other title. It could also only use the name of the organization and the similar setting with little else to link it all together. That would be a weird way to go with it all but still something I can see the developers doing too. We will just have to wait another year or so to be certain for it all. Just have a nice look at this new trailer to see what is currently out there for now.
