The story of Ignat is finally coming over to the consoles with Hail To The Rainbow moving away from the PC. The original developer dropped it over there a year ago, and now Sometimes You is offering up gamers on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch a chance to see this other side of Russia out there. Even if many might not normally want to go through all of that, this is just one more video game to have us exploring. At least when Hail To The Rainbow lands on all of those consoles on October 21st. Just in perfect time to give us all one more Halloween bit of fun after being exclusive on one platform for so long. Let’s have a look at just what will be out there for this title and all of us who might want to head into unknown locations.
For those out of the loop, Hail To The Rainbow is a new first-person story game, where we are in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world. We also seem to be in Russia, with all of the environments that normally come with it. We play as Ignat, who is a lone man wandering about the lands after a military conflict made things a little bit worse in the world out there. Even though Ignat is fine living alone, it looks as if something is pulling Ignat into the mix to face off with the various enemies and cyborgs that are roaming the lands of Hail To The Rainbow. It’s now up to us to survive the horrors of it all and explore the story that has been offered up to the world. The usual kind of flair, with some new features and changes coming to the console version of the game out there. Hail To The Rainbow will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Play Anywhere (Xbox Series X|S + Xbox One + Microsoft Store) on October 21st!
The story follows Ignat, a lonely young man surviving in a dark, dangerous post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world. After a tragic military conflict, the few remaining survivors had to adapt to a harsh new reality. Having lost his parents, Ignat has learned to live alone and build his life in this unforgiving environment.
However, his once-stable existence changes dramatically when he receives an unexpected email message…
Hail To The Rainbow is a first-person, story-driven adventure with horror and shooter elements. Set in a richly detailed world, the game challenges you to survive in a new reality, uncover the secrets behind the surrounding chaos, and experience the protagonist’s memories and inner struggles.
