Haunted House Renovator Is Offering Up A Bit Of A Prologue To Give More Haunts

Haunted House Renovator

More Haunted House flipping options are on the way with the announcement of Haunted House Renovator: Prologue on the way

We had a little bit out there before for Haunted House Renovator while it was still looking for funding, and now it seems we are getting a lot more for this quirky little title. A title that Image Power is still hard at work on, but they still want to show us something on the PC before the final build is released. Not just in terms of a demo that can be played, but now a new portion of the game announced. Here we have Haunted House Renovator: Prologue to dive into and get us further excited to see what was funded and what will be coming. Along with the chance to be a shady house flipper or one that is truly trying to clear out all of the ghosts in a house before selling it off. Let us see just what we will be getting here.

In Haunted House Renovator: Prologue, it seems the title will be a bit of a misnomer for it all out the gate. It will still house all of the things that the core game will have out there when it launches and the team will be taking the feedback from this one too. The weird change here, though, is that it all will be taking place in an apartment and not a house. A technical thing, sure, but it is Haunted House Renovator and not Haunted Home Renovator. Not that many will most likely catch that as they take on the various ghosts and other entities causing the property values to go down. Just a weird thing to catch when we will not be outside and able to see that this is not just a traditional but small house. Something that would have worked well for a demo or small slice of the game to keep us excited for the final build.

Haunted House Renovator — Prologue Announcement

Image Power is delighted to announce that the Haunted House Renovator: Prologue will be available in Q4! This will be a great opportunity to check what the game has to offer.

In the Prologue, players will be able to check out all the features available in the full version of the game, such as; improved UI, 2D cutscenes, secret passageways, a sneak peek at the upgrade system, an enhanced magic circle system, game saves, as well as many more new and interesting mechanics! Players should prepare to meet new creatures and spirits, and learn more about the mysterious Ancestor first met in the demo!

The feedback that developers received after the Steam Next Fest was extremely helpful and all improvements are based on it.

Players will have the opportunity to try Haunted House Renovator: Prologue without additional fees and without a time limit. The presented version will have many mechanics from the full version (without the selection of orders) and the location itself will be larger than the one presented in the demo. Additionally, furniture created especially for this level will be available, as every map has one.

In Haunted House Renovator: Prologue, you take the next step in the career of a ghost-fighting renovator! Explore the uniquely spooky apartment of a mad painter and discover its many hauntings. Use your tools to overcome the supernatural odds – and bring the location to its former glory!

Features:

  • Full haunted apartment to explore and renovate
  • Unique atmosphere of a mad painter’s apartment
  • An interactive environment with many quests based on unique mechanics and physics
  • Variety of spooky (but not scary) hauntings – each needing different tactics to eradicate
  • A choice of specialized tools for restoring the environment – and fighting the paranormal
  • Loads of decoration options!

Will you be diving into Haunted House Renovator: Prologue when it drops or will you just have a full go when the full title launches? Is it nitpicky to look at the apartment aspect of it all or should they not even mention that and let us flip things as we want? Will you still go out and try to clear everything out in the game or will you opt to be the shady slum lord and leave some of the horrors in the house for the people to deal with? Haunt the comment section below and let that discussion flow on out there. We will have more for Haunted House Renovator and this Prologue as it seeps out there. So please keep on checking back for all of those updates and the many others we have still to come for the site.
