Have A Look At How EA DICE Is Making Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront

Fresh off the heals of the Star Wars Battlefront reveal we have our first developer diary from EA DICE

Last week we had a nice little reveal of how Star Wars Battlefront is going to look in the new incarnation of the game. It was also talked about the 40-person multiplayer matches, the ability to play as Vader or the Fett-man, also a whole slew of locations, and lastly in first-person or third-person modes. All of this when Star Wars Battlefront launches on November 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of the information we should have known if we watched everything that DICE and EA gave to us last week of course.

Now we beg the question of what has transpired for Star Wars Battlefront since then. Not all too much unless you are one of those behind the scenes nerds like myself. We have our first developer’s diary from DICE to show off how Star Wars Battlefront is being made and what we can expect from the franchise most of us already know and love. Star Wars Battlefront really is for the fans and not completely crafted to snag new people to the franchise when you really boil things down. Why would a new player care so much to play as Vader on some planet they have never heard of before after all?

Continuing off that idea, the first dev diary for Star Wars Battlefront completely points at fan service as the people from DICE have gone to great lengths to recapture everything from the original films. From full renders of the characters, costumes, and locations from the films but they also snagged the original score and sound effects to go along with it. Star Wars Battlefront will have the original light-saber sounds that we all know and love and not something new just for the game. Don’t believe me then you can have a look at that Star Wars Battlefront developer’s diary for yourself right now.
