Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
A new developer series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has started with the first going into the exploration of Ancestors’ map
A new taste for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is here in the way of a developer diary of sorts to take us on a bit more of the exploration in the game. Specifically that feature in the game as Panache Digital Games has opted to leave out the maps for us and require us to do it all on our own. Not the worst of ideas, but it will be a shift from what we know in open world games like Ancestors. It could be a lot worse when things are boiled down, but at least we are getting a bit of a heads up before the game fully kicks off later this year.
We also get a nice little taste of the survival mechanics in Ancestors, as we will need to worry about sleeping, eating, and drinking in the game. Again, not a huge shock as that has been presented to us before. The more interesting part here, though, is that our stamina and other resources will not replenish until we have had our friend sleep for at least four hours. That is game time and not real-world time. Nonetheless, this will make surviving in Ancestors a tougher time given everything else we will need to worry about and have to survive. Have a look just below if your curiosities have been piqued.

DO you think this will add a needed change to the gaming world in general or will it only work here? What about the need to sleep to recover anything? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we have more to share for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, we will have it here.
