Hellbound
FPS Hellbound has a final release date that will bring a full campaign to Hellbound on top of the survival mode that has been out there already
Before we even dig into it all, it should be known that a version of Hellbound has been out there on the PC for a bit now, but now we have a release date that will bring the full game to us all. That is, something more than just the Survival Mode that we have had from Saibot Studios for the last bit of time. On August 4th, those looking to get a fuller Hellbound experience will be able to grab the game in all of its bloody glory via Steam. Bloody being used in terms of the gore and not the other colloquialism many know it to be in this day and age. I figured that would be something needed to state here.
To go along with this announcement, we have a whole lot of rag gameplay footage to look at for Hellbound as well. Raw as in the terms of it not being edited down to look overly fancy but to show off how the game is going to look and possibly run while we are in control. More or less, it looks like many of the fast-paced FPS titles as of late. Only that Hellbound was specifically made to evoke the 90s feel to it all. Have a look at what I am talking about and see if that nostalgia is going to kick in for you. If you have not already had it kicked in the pants with all of the other releases for it as of now.
Hellbound — Raw Gameplay Footage
Argentinian developers Saibot Studios, partnering with veteran developer and now also publisher Nimble Giant, will be releasing their head-pounding homage to 90s shooters, Hellbound, on Steam August 4th! After jumpstarting the project with a successful Kickstarter, and releasing popular demos to give players a taste of the bloodbath, the team is excited to finally release this gloriously brutal game!
The game will transport the player to Hell, a once sacred place that is now home to unspeakable evils, where the carnage of their own design awaits them. “Hellbound: Survival Mode has been available on Steam for two years, and the response from old school shooter fans has been incredible! We’ve learned a lot since the demo’s release, and have fueled that into the creation of a full-fledged campaign that will test players’ mettle as they carve their way through demons as fast as they can! Speed is the name of the game in Hellbound,” says Tobias Rusjan from Saibot Studios.
Will you be jumping into Hellbound now that we are getting a fuller release here in August or have you been in t for a while now? Do you think that this will hit a broader audience and then port over to other platforms or will this stick where it is for now? Do you get all of those same vibes off this game as I mentioned or is it something else for you? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for Hellbound, we will have it up on the site for you. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that and more.
