Eternal pain will be coming to Horror Nights this year, as we have the announcement that Hellraiser will be joining Halloween Horror Nights
This feels like it is going to be a big year for the Hellraiser IP out there, as we’re not only getting the new game this October, but it will now be featured in this year’s Halloween Horror Nights out at the Universal Parks. Not because of the new video game specifically, but the IP is closing in on that 40-year mark, so it feels like Pinhead and the Cenobites should be roaming the parks and showing us all so many more sights in the haunts they will have. All of this is to say, the IP will have its foothold at Horror Nights, and the interactive media will make sure we are celebrating the IP in the best way. Along with the various others that we’ve had announced for this year’s event.
The announcement of Hellraiser for Halloween Horror Nights adds to the growing IPs that will be out there, with more still to come. We’ve seen that Sinners and Stranger Things will have their presence as well, all while snagging clips, audio, and scenes from those IPs as needed. Along with the scare actors bringing it all to life. When it comes to Hellraiser, fans will have a little extra fun in the mix with Doug Bradley keeping his voice work flowing, as he’ll also be voicing the clips of Pinhead in the haunt out there at Horror Nights. I mean, we have him in the studio already for the video game; we might as well get those fun little clips out of him along the way, too. Now we just need to survive the pain of waiting until the festivities kick off in a few months to see if this is going to be the big resurgence that the IP needed in the world.

Will this be a massive year for Hellraiser with the new game and now the Horror Nights house? Will we actually get to hear the smooth sounds of Doug Bradley well in the haunts, or will it get drowned out by all of the other noise out there? Will we see other horror IPs that blend into the video game space have their own haunts out there? Do you like looking at haunted houses as real-life walking simulation games? Let’s discuss what we can for all of this down in the comments. We’re excited for Halloween Horror Nights, as we are every year. We’ll be trying to keep up on all of the information that we can for this year’s event, along with the year-round one in Vegas that is currently running a Resident Evil experience. Join us for all of that on the site and all of our socials to see when it all goes live, and if you should head out to see them all for yourselves.
