GTFO
A new breakdown of GTFO’s Rundown mode is here to explain one of the gameplay loops coming to GTFO in Early Access
As it was figured, it looks like GTFO is heading to an Early Access on Steam this year and with it will be coming its newly announced gameplay loop. This one being called “The Rundown” and it will drive forward how we all will experience the game in this form. That is, it looks like 10 Chambers Collective will be releasing out various “challenges” in GTFO that will be the missions we and our friends will have to undertake. All of which will only be out there for a set amount of time and will require things to be done in that allotment. It sounds a lot more convoluted than it actually is…
The way it will all be explained in GTFO is that the “Warden” will assign the tasks to us and give us how long we have to go in as our team. With the team, we will then need to scavenge and explore to find valuable artifacts in the underground complex that has been overrun by the monsters we have seen thus far. Then we will have to do like the game’s title dictates and GTFO with everything. These will then rotate out based on how the developer has things set and we will go through the process over and over again. All of which kicks off when the Early Access starts up. Kind of interesting to read about, but you can see it in action via the following video too.
GTFO — Explaining The Rundown
GTFO is a terrifying 4 player co-op game for hardcore FPS players, brought to you by the game designer behind the PAYDAY franchise. Players get to play as a team of scavengers, forced to explore and extract valuable artifacts from a vast underground complex that has been overrun by horrifying monsters. Gather weapons, tools, and resources to help you survive – and work to unearth the answers about your past and how to escape.
What do you think about this new mode for GTFO and do you think it will be updated more than a few months at a time? Do you like the in-game reasoning for it all or does it seem a bit odd that the demand would allow for such a drawn-out timeline? Does any of this matter and you are just ready to dive into everything the game has to offer? Let us and the world know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When there is more to share for GTFO, we will share it all here. Be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much more.
