Heroes Will Fall As We Set Out For Conquest In Dune: Spice Wars

Dune: Spice Wars

A new update for Dune: Spice Wars is out there to give us a new way to win in the world of Dune

I hope you have been having fun with Dune: Spice Wars up to now in the Early Access we have had for the game so far. That is a legitimate hope and not a way to get you worried that Shiro Games is about to pull it down on you. As a matter of fact, it is all to lead into the new update that we have for it all as there is more to experience out there. A new update is live and ready for you to jump back into Dune: Spice Wars on the PC that will give you more gameplay with the Conquest Mode. So, start those downloads and let us dig into what is on the way to you to experience out there.

The first thing to take note of here for this update to Dune: Spice Wars is the new mode that is coming to us all. A new mode that is going to encourage us all to try different playstyles and shake things up for each of the houses. How that is going to do that, feels a little obfuscated here, but it will give us ten more hours of gameplay each time. So, there is that to head out there and get behind some of the perks and scenarios out there. As if we needed another reason to get more Dune in our lives and see how the spice will flow. You also paid for the Early Access, so you might as well get all that you can out of it while the game’s final polish is placed on it all.

In addition to this new feature in Dune: Spice Wars, we are going to be seeing the tutorials expanded out a bit, some new balancing additions, an overhaul to the assassinations, and a rework to some of the resource management in the game. There will also be some new regions to explore and a unique building for each faction too. Maybe that is part of the new way to play each of them that was mentioned before too. Given that it is outside of the basic scope listed, though, I think it is just an addition to Dune: Spice Wars and not something that will be the sole focus here. I could be wrong. That does not change the fact that it is all a part of the game as of right now. So, head out and have some fun with it all.

Dune: Spice Wars — Conquest Update

Conquest Mode encourages you to experiment with new playstyles for each of the major houses, expanding the possibilities with powerful new unique perks as you respond to challenging scenarios. Each run plays out differently and takes about 10 hours to complete.

Beyond this new major feature, the update has much more to offer. Tutorials have been expanded, making for a much smoother landing on Arrakis for newcomers. Major balancing and additions touch on almost every aspect of the game, with improvements to spying, an assassination overhaul, economy improvements, and a rework to nukes and resource management.

On top of everything above, the Conquest Update includes new regions, a new unique building for every faction, quality of life improvements, improved UI, and nine new music tracks.

The Conquest Update is yet another leap forward in the work that began almost a year ago in Early Access: to set the full stage for the epic and vicious drama that plays out at the center of the universe, Arrakis. To hone the many moving parts that make Dune: Spice Wars unique – the balancing of all the scales, intrigue and spying, brutal combat, Landsraad politics, the flow of spice, and the ever-looming threat of Arrakis itself.

Was this the kind of update you were looking for in your Dune experience or just one more reason to keep playing the game? How vast will these new buildings be and will they be the thing that changes it all up in the gameplay here? Will the other new features make this title more inviting to those that have not been hardcore fans before now or just keep those fans diving back in? Head down to the comment section and let us all know what is on your mind for this. As more for Dune: Spice Wars is announced, of course, we will share it all here. Please keep checking back in for all of those updates and everything else we can offer up to you out there.
