Hot Wheels Unleashed
The next track area for Hot Wheels Unleashed is here along with a few more of those sweet Hot Wheels cars to race with
More tracks are coming for Hot Wheels Unleashed before the September 30th release out there. At least one more here for it all to add to the previous three track sets that we have seen from Milestone to date. This time it looks like we will be taking our Hot Wheels through and around a skatepark now with some of the fun that could be. It does look more like a fun little park and not so much as a skatepark, but there had to be a reason to get some of the music that fits the stereotype in there. That is what we get to see here for the game as the track and new cars are here to be shown off. Although, I will say it does look like a lot of fun to be able to drive through the mouth of a big, plastic T-rex on this one.
It looks like we have a little more to take in for this track set too. There look to be some new hazards out there in Hot Wheels Unleashed with some giant fans that are about the raceway that look like they do more than just add some cool aesthetics to it all. They look like they will try to blow our Hot Wheels off the track and most likely to a lost race. That is the assumption, as there is no solid information as to what will happen if you do fall off the track. If it is the end of your race, it would make the shortcut jumps we have seen in the footage a little more of a risk. If it is like some of the other racing titles out there, it just looks like it will be a bit of a delay in your race time and placement. We will just have to wait and see how that all fits in, I guess.
Hot Wheels Unleashed — Skatepark Unveil
The Skatepark is the stage with the biggest space available to unleash creativity and build tracks, characterized by the absence of furniture and walls. Players can use ramps, railings, and beams to create their crazy routes.
This unique setting features breathtaking descents of the Halfpipe, dark tunnels inside the drainage vents, and a huge basketball court.
Other 3 environments have been already revealed: the dark and rusty Garage, with its underground mood, the Skyscraper, a construction site that will test players’ fear of heights, and the College Campus, where players can build tracks in a typical American College.
The new gameplay video also unveiled seven new vehicles out of the 60+ plus vehicles available on day 1. They are: Bad to the Blade, Hot Wheels High, Veloci-Racer, Solid Muscle, Tur-Bone Charged, Roller Toaster, Time Attaxi.
Are you excited to be able to race these Hot Wheels around the skatepark we have to see here? Do you think that we will see the end of the race if we fall off the track or will it only delay us just a bit in the race? How rough do you think it will be to manage those fans out there or will they only be a bit of an issue while speeding around it all? Give us all of those thoughts and feelings down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. If there is more for Hot Wheels Unleashed, we will share it all here for you. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much more as we head toward the release of it all.
