Humanity Has Learned Nothing As Left Alive Is Announced

Left Alive

New title, Left Alive, has been officially announced and it looks like Left Alive aims to take us on a robotic apocalypse in the future…of sorts

Unless you have been under a rock for the last few days, then you may have heard that Square Enix was teasing a new title called Left Alive out at TGS. They posted a teaser for the teaser video earlier on and gave a very small blurb about what is going on with the game. Not too much at all besides a few of the names behind the development and character design that will be working on Left Alive. That and that the game will be coming to the PS4 and PC sometime in the near future. Not much to go on before, but it looks like a little bit more has come out of the convention that we have to share.

By little bit more, I am talking about another trailer for Left Alive that has a little bit of gameplay mixed in with a lot of non-gameplay. More or less enough to let us know that the game will be set in a futuristic landscape where we will be fighting giant robots or mechs. Pretty much playing to the strengths of the director of the Armored Core franchise and the character designer for the Metal Gear franchise. Both things that you can see in action just below. Have a look and then be up to par with what is out there for Left Alive at this time.

Left Alive — TGS 2017 Announcement Trailer

Left Alive is a brand-new survival action shooter coming to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system. Veteran developers, Toshifumi Nabeshima (director, Armored Core series), Yoji Shinkawa (character designer, Metal Gear series), and Takayuki Yanase (mech designer, Ghost In The Shell: Arise, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Xenoblade Chronicles X) join forces to create Left Alive’s dark and gritty world.

To give a point of reference for the rest of you under the rock out there, here is the original teaser for Left Alive that was released earlier in the week. It offers up even less for the game other than the fact that Square Enix is behind it. It is where it all started though so you cannot say you have not seen all that Left Alive has to offer at the time of this posting. Hopefully that will change with a quickness and not be something to speculate on for weeks and months on end. I guess we will all see.
