In H1Z1 You Can Either Just Survive Or Become King Of Killing

H1Z1

H1Z1 has now been officially split into two different titles, H1Z1: Just Survive & H1Z1 King Of The Kill, but will all be taking place in the same world

It’s been some time since we had some coverage for H1Z1 here and it looks like we are back in with a huge one as it looks like the game has now been split into two distinct titles on the PC through Steam Early Access. In case you didn’t remember H1Z1 was the zombie MMO title that was in the works by SOE who later became Daybreak Games. I guess it just runs in their path that things get split but it looks like this could lead to H1Z1 becoming the kind of game that each fan may truly be wanting.

The first title, H1Z1: Just Survive, is the first title and it looks to be the one that sticks a bit closer to the original scope I remember the game having so long ago. That being an open-world survival experience after the world has been destroyed by zombies and humans are just trying to survive. Hence the name I guess. But it looks like it will focus more on that than all of the other things that users have tried in the game up to now.

H1Z1 — Just Survive

Then we have the other title H1Z1: King Of The Kill. It is set in the same world as Just Survive but is a high-intensity online multiplayer shooter that consists of “King Of The Hill” style matches for players to dominate. While the trailer below does show off some very unique “hero” types there is no solid word on if we will get to craft them to that level or if we are going to be stuck with whatever we can salvage and purchase in the game. I am truly hoping H1Z1: Kill Of The Kill does give us all the customization including the intro cards.

H1Z1 — King Of The Kill

Currently you can pick up either of these H1Z1 titles on Steam Early Access for $19.99 USD. Then look for it sometime this summer to get out of Early Access and head on to the PS4 and Xbox One as well. There is no solid date as of yet but that is the timeline that Daybreak Games is aiming for. Let’s hope that they can make it.

What are your thoughts on H1Z1 becoming two separate titles now? Do you think it is going to truly give the split player base what they want or is this just a money ploy? Has it been too long in development that you have lost interest in H1Z1 altogether? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. As we get more news and updates we will try to bring them to you. Stay right here so you don’t miss a single thing.
