Injustice 2 Is Shattering Alliances & Making Heroes Out Of Villains

Another story trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped to shows us more of the divide and introduce a new character to Injustice 2 in the mix of it all

I hope you are ready for some more Injustice 2 story to be revealed as that is what we have here to look at today. At least a bit more as we all know how NetherRealm Studios rolls and they will keep the best parts well-hidden until May 16^th when the game hits the PS4 and Xbox One. That is of course as long as no one leaks or spoils anything else for Injustice 2 before it comes to the masses. We know how some of those sites out there like to do that. For now though, we’ll just have a nice look at how Superman is becoming the villain of the story either due to the loss he suffered in the first Injustice or because of some other force like Brainiac doing something. I guess that would be more the true villain if that is how it all pans out.

Also mixed in you may also see another character get officially confirmed for Injustice 2 even though it was one that was highly speculated for a while. It looks like Cyborg is back in action here and bringing his own version of justice to the game. Boo-Yah! Not the biggest of reveals though as he has been spotted in the Injustice 2 Mobile game and he looks pretty close to what we had there as well. Hopefully this means that the others will also carry over soon and look about the same. Not to mention this pins another character that was on the initial “leaked” list to be confirmed so it is looking a lot like that list will all be in the game now.

Of course the story for Injustice 2 is all well and good, but it is also a game so we should expect some great gameplay and that is what a lot of us want to see as well. Maybe you saw it or maybe you didn’t, but NetherRealm Studios has also held another livestream where they broke down a few more characters for us. Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman to be exact but Swamp Thing also had a nice little breakdown of his basic abilities as well and we have those videos just below for you. There is also a look at how the gear and shaders in Injustice 2 will also bring back moves from the previous title while overriding some on the character this time around. It is mainly shown in Harley but it could be possible for all characters at some point.

Does this extra bit of story for Injustice 2 get you more amped up to continue the story or does it beg more questions on how to stop Superman when it is obvious that he can snap Kryptonite now? Do you think that he will again be the overall bad guy in the game or will the puppet master be the true boss and we’ll have to take them down as well?
