Another guest character is coming for Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania with Kazuma Kiryu joining the Super Monkey Ball crew

October 5^th keeps on rolling toward us and each day means we are closer to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania launching out there. It also seems to mean that SEGA wants to keep dropping in new characters for us to use while rolling around in the game and then teasing us with them to help keep things going bananas for us all. Here we get to see as Kazuma Kiryu gets in on the Super Monkey Ball fun when the game launches and offer up one more look at how we will play. That and how the game will shift slightly to allow for the non-monkey style character in the mix. Nothing too major, but something that will fit a bit more unless we go with the head cannon that Mr. Kiryu has some epic level cramp that the potassium is needed for.

In terms of gameplay for Super Monkey Ball, this new character is just more of a skin than anything, just with one bit of a difference. He will be collecting bottles of Staminan X instead of collecting bananas as everyone else will be. The core design for Super Monkey Ball will still be there, we will just have different models and textures to make us all feel better about collecting things in the mix out there. I would have thought that the team would have leaned into the insanity of the game and leave it all the same, but I guess that is not what we are going to be getting at the end of it all. You can get a taste of it in the following gameplay we do have for it all and then wait for October to rush up on us all.
