Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory
Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory is announced and will bring us a rhythm title that will house all of the great music from the Kingdom Hearts franchise
Something I never thought we would be seeing has just been announced with Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory. This is not just another spin-off title that will have Square Enix expanding on an already over-convoluted story, but a new Rhythm title set in the same universe of it all. Also, it looks like they will be expanding on the Kingdom Hearts story, but we will for now focus on the fact that we will be able to play the songs of the franchise in various other ways. All of which later this year and on the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. The first time the franchise will be over on that last platform too.
You can see a bit of the gameplay for the game just below, but it looks like we will have over 140 tracks and 20 characters from the Kingdom Hearts franchise as we move through the tracks and hit the notes along the way. Not just the core characters will be the focus as we can see a few of the side characters mixed in the various multi-track or single tracks we will go along hitting the notes. I am guessing this will show how the multiplayer for Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory is going to work with it having an online multiplayer for us. It looks interesting, but not something that every fan has been expecting.

Square Enix and Disney today announced Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory, an all-new rhythm-action game coming in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch system, the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X. This ultimate celebration of music and adventure marks the Kingdom Hearts series’ first appearance on the Nintendo Switch.
Featuring over 140 musical tracks and 20 characters from throughout the beloved series, Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory provides fans with an unmissable opportunity to relive their favorite moments like never before. Fans excited for the release of Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory, can also look forward to the Kingdom Hearts III original soundtrack, which will feature many of the unforgettable and timeless tracks from the critically-acclaimed Kingdom Hearts III and will be available globally in Fall 2020.
