Kitana & D’Vorah Are In Full Form With New Fatalities For Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11

More characters for Mortal Kombat 11 have been given the highlights recently with a new look at some of Mortal Kombat 11’s fatalities

All kinds of new things have made their way out there for Mortal Kombat 11 since last week and we are here to dive right into it all. Well, at least in terms of a few new characters getting their full showing that we have been asking NetherRealm Studios for since we first heard of them. This means we have a new and solid look at Kitana and D’Vorah in Mortal Kombat 11 as well as one more look at Cetrion outside of the small tease we had before. We had the basic reveal for the character a while back, but now we get to see the elder goddess in action with all of the other fun stuff that was left out.

The first thing we have here is Kitana in a fuller form for Mortal Kombat 11. Before we had just a nice pre-rendered announcement in a TV spot that did not truly give us any gameplay on how the princess would play. Here we get the new look at her design and how her fatal blows and one fatality plays out in the game. All in all, she looks to be the same basic character we have seen in Mortal Kombat to date with more of the basic killing moves. That is not a knock on the character, but it is nothing to blow minds of anyone who was not a fan of the character before now. Have a look.

Mortal Kombat 11 — Kitana

Kitana, the 10,000-year-old princess of Edenia, grew up believing she was Shao Kahn’s biological daughter and served as one of his deadliest warriors. When Kitana learned the truth, she fought against Shao Kahn’s attempted conquest of Earthrealm, eventually dying in battle. After being resurrected as an evil revenant version of her former self, Kitana now rules the Netherrealm alongside revenant Liu Kang, dedicated to the destruction of all the realms.

Another character that we knew was coming back for Mortal Kombat 11 for a while now is D’Vorah and all we had was an early pre-render of the character. Now we get to see her in action and how not only the look has shifted for this game but how the combat has evolved. More so when you see that she will be able to burst forth from her skin before a true death and still keep the fight going. It is an interesting shift for Mortal Kombat, but I will take something that is trying to push it all forward just a bit more than being a basic fighting game with a solid gimmick. Following that, we also have a good look at Cetrion as mentioned before.

Mortal Kombat 11 — D’Vorah Gameplay

D’Vorah is one among many Kytinn, a swarm of sentient insects who share a hive mind. D’Vorah has served Shao Kahn, Kotal Kahn, and Shinnok, but her true allegiance is to the swarm. She lies, cheats, and backstabs so that when everyone else has died, the Kytinn hive will survive.

Mortal Kombat 11 — Goddess Cetrion Gameplay

The final part of this update for Mortal Kombat 11 comes in the way of NetherRealm Studios going into their favorite fatalities in the game. Well, more the ones that we have already seen as there is a lot of talk in the background of things that have not been publicly shown yet. The good news on all of this is the fact that we have another Johnny Cage fatality shown to us after all of the posturing in the video. As you would expect, it fits not only in Mortal Kombat be the feel of the character. I will not spoil it for you, but you can see it below. It has to be my favorite so far as well.
