LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

The release date for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is set to take us through all of the Star Wars stories out there

It looks like the release date for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is set and we were only slightly off on the timeline for it. Originally, it was listed as Spring of 2022, so it was easy to assume it was going to be May 4^th. In fact, it looks like TT Games will have it all wrapped up and ready for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on April 5^th. It is close to the Star Wars day out there but not exact. No matter the case, we are getting the game not too far off now and can experience the whole story through the lens of the LEGO games here.

In addition to the release date here for the new LEGO Star Wars title, we have a bit of a gameplay overview to look at too. Most of which offers up the normal gameplay we should expect from a LEGO title. We will get to play the game in chronological order or in whichever order we so choose. More of the lightsaber and blaster combat will be mixed in with things shifted a bit to fit the setting. It also would not be a Star Wars game without all of the Force powers at our hands too. Even the little things like messing with the minds of others out there too. I know I am ready to jump back in and see if it improves on the whole saga up to now. More on the story side of it than just the gameplay.

Is it an odd choice not to go for the Star Wars day to release on? Will it be fun to play as some of the non-traditional characters in the mix here, like Jabba?
