Get those calendars ready to mark up since we have a new release timeline for Lies Of P over on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that we had one before now, even if memory makes it feel like there was, but now we can look to August of this year to see the game from Round8 Studio. Yes, it is a release month and not a specific date to look at for Lies Of P. That does not mean we should not be excited. Just not as excited given how many different days we can try to mark down in the calendars we told you to pull out. So, maybe just give it a bit of time before you start using the permanent marker to see how this Pinocchio title will function in our hands.
Now that we have a schedule to look forward to, we can look at the latest trailer that came with Lies Of P for this announcement. New footage that takes us into a few new places out there along with various other creatures in the mix. Even if most of them still feel like automatons or machines of some sort. Even if some of the glitterings in the world do make it feel as if Lies Of P could be digging into some of the supernatural elements from the story that most will know from the retellings of the story. That or maybe it could be some of the darker elements from the original. That would fit the Souls-like gameplay we will have in the mix along with the new setting we have for this story. NEOWIZ is thrilled to announce the launch month for the highly-anticipated Action RPG Lies Of P. Hot off an incredible new story trailer revealed during IGN’s Fan Fest, the team at Round8 Studio is happy to share that Lies Of P will be launching on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC this August. To celebrate this momentous announcement, NEOWIZ and Round 8 have released a brand new character trailer, spotlighting Simon – a mysterious figure in the city of Krat – intrigued by monsters that have overrun the once bustling metropolis.
Lies Of P tells the story of Pinocchio as never seen before. As Pinocchio, players will wind their way through the streets of a ruined city, crafting weapons from the materials found in the world and interacting with the remaining few who manage to survive in this hellscape. The more lies told, the more human players become, with all the advantages and disadvantages it entails. Lies Of P features profound narrative choices and deeply customizable character progression to round out its RPG features.
Lies Of P has been built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 4 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
