Life Is Strange
The episodic adventure that is Life Is Strange is now getting a physical limited edition bundle with all kinds of Life Is Strange goodies added in to celebrate the game’s success
If you were holding out to play all of Life Is Strange in one fell swoop or the game hit you square in the feelings and you fell in love with it then you’ll be glad to know that there is something coming just for you. It looks like Dontnod wants to make sure more people get to enjoy Life Is Strange in all facets so we will be getting a physical, limited edition of the entire game on January 19th of 2016. Well at least if you want to experience Life Is Strange on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. You’ll still have to go the old digital way if you only want it on the PS3 or Xbox 360 still. At least in this form.
Currently it looks like the Life Is Strange limited edition is pre-ordering for $39.99 USD at the time of this writing and houses the standard items one would expect in said edition. All of which can be seen just a bit lower down. It is just really cool to see that Life Is Strange is getting this kind of treatment as it was such an unheard of title when you hop into the Way Back Machine when episode one first landed. I am sure that Dontnod is doing flips and if not they very well should be for what they were able to do with Life Is Strange.
The Limited Edition includes a directors’ commentary, a physical 32-page art book, and 14 licensed tracks from the game’s official soundtrack as well as 8 tracks from the game’s composer Jonathan Morali. A full list of included tracks can be found below:
