A listing on the PEGI website may have confirmed a PS4 version of the popular indie title Limbo, not through PlayStation Now
Hopefully by now you’ve at least heard of Limbo. Not the place of nothingness in popular religious mythologies but the video game. It is a fun little title from Playdead and has been named as one of the best indie titles for some time now. Limbo has seen a release on many different platforms ranging from the PC to the Xbox 360 to the PS Vita to the PS3. According to a recent listing on the PEGI website it looks like it may be adding the PS4 to that list and not through the use of PlayStation Now as one might have been thinking already.
For those who are not worldly cultured that means that there is a rating in the works for Limbo on the PS4 in Europe. There may be one coming to the ERSB sometime soon but as of now that is where this new Limbo rumor is originating. It would make sense for the developer too as the game did sell rather well and I am sure they want to get much more money in their accounts while they wrap up their title Inside here sometime this year. Developers need money because developers need to eat right? Of course they do.
There are still no signs that this is a 100% confirmation yet as the listed date on the site for a PS4 Limbo was January 1st 2015 and that day has already flown by. Of course placeholders can be used and I think Playdead would be dumb not to try and rake in more dough but it’s not my company. I know I’d love to be able to move Limbo off my small Vita screen to my PS4 screen with ease but until the confirmation it will be a dream. Just one that will most likely be fulfilled at some point in time.
