Head deeper into The Sinking City, with a brand-new look at the gameplay that The Sinking City 2 will have for us very soon

So much has been going on for The Sinking City 2 up to now, and with August 18^th just around the corner, we should have a good look at the gameplay that we are going to have in the game. That is what I think, and it also seems that Frogwares is on the same page for this, as we have a nice long video to get us ready for when the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that fans of The Sinking City will not already be familiar with what we are going to have to do, but there are quite a few new fans and those who love Cthulhu out there who might be diving into the IP at this point. Even if it does look as if you will be missing a bit of the context if you are starting with this game and not the harder-to-find one.

For those who have not known about The Sinking City before now, it is an investigation game in a very Lovecraftian setting where we will need to navigate a city that is slowly sinking into the sea. That should have been a bit obvious from the title. In addition to all of that, we are going to be heading into the horrors of the city to figure out a few big mysteries that are out there and giving us all a bit of the cosmic horror that we need in our lives. This will be through the general navigation of the water-filled roads and dilapidated buildings. Buildings that also seem to house some of the weird denizens of The Sinking City 2, and areas that will take us into other worlds. Some filled with more puzzles and others filled with nightmares that we will need to aim at. All so we can figure out how to survive Arkham out there, and maybe see about getting our wife back into a normal state of things.
