There Are So Many Game Modes In Assassin’s Creed Unity

Assassin's Creed Unity

Ubisoft gives us a breakdown of the different gameplay modes for Assassin’s Creed Unity outside of the standard story missions

It is no big surprise that Assassin’s Creed Unity is going to have a whole lot going on in the open world of the game. Ubisoft generally makes sure that there is so much going on in any Assassin’s Creed title that you will be spending hours doing everything else besides playing the main narrative. Assassin’s Creed Unity has already added in the multiplayer mission aspect and now we have a look at the other ordeals, trials, challenges, and fun we will be having on our PS4s, Xbox Ones, or PCs on November 11th.

I know that throwing in a whole bunch of collectibles and mini-missions is a way to make Assassin’s Creed Unity or any game feel like it is a lot longer than it actually is. Especially when it comes to the completionist mentality rampant for gamers. It gets the job done though I guess and all of those extras adding in Assassin’s Creed Unity, which can be seen in their latest video for the game, are going to make the game feel like it is 10s of hours long instead of the average eight or so to power through the main portion of the game.

Assassin’s Creed Unity — Immersive Open World Activities

So is Ubisoft changing the standard treasure box hunt into a side mission with its own narrative now? It seems that way for Assassin’s Creed Unity. This would be the normal run around and find the hidden treasure boxes in the world kind of gameplay I am talking about here and the specific Treasure Hunt mode that has already been covered. Do we really need a story as to why we are looting the residents of Assassin’s Creed Unity‘s world? Seems a bit much but if it builds on the story I guess I’ll give it a pass. I just hope it isn’t dumb or generic kinds of add-ons.

I guess we’ll find out here soon as Assassin’s Creed Unity launches in a few weeks. You can still pre-order to get all those fun DLC items mentioned in the above video as well. That is if you still really want Assassin’s Creed Unity and will have the time to sink into the game. November is going to be a rough one for sure.
