Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater Reveals Some Fun Things & A Bit Of Gameplay

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater

The lead into the launch of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is ramping up and we finally get to meet one of the voices from Metal Gear Solid 3

As the year moves towards the end, we are still waiting to know when we can play Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There have been a whole lot of looks at the various new and old elements that Konami has in the mix of things out there for this version too. This is why it is fun to come back once more with the Metal Gear Solid: Legacy videos to go behind the scenes and learn a bit more about the history of the game and what is on the way for those who have never played the original. The latest entry doing more of that with gameplay, but also now officially revealing some of the voice cast many might never know were in the game and how their work has been updated for the newer version.

Now that we have buried the lead a bit more for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, in the new video, mostly at the end, we do get a bit of gameplay and a little more of a look at Eva and The Boss in the game. Both in their new form and old forms. The reason behind all of that goes hand in hand with the other showing of the voices that brought them to life before and then added extra work in. With Lori Alan back as The Boss and the surprise of Jodi Benson giving us more of the voice of Eva. The second name does not ring a bell for you, this is also the main announcement that Jodi did the voice originally in Metal Gear Solid but had to hide the fact at the time. Given that she was the voice of Ariel and probably had to sign those horrible contracts with Disney, it has had to wait until now that she could attach herself directly. An amazing way to do the reveal, but something to think about with how we allow businesses and money to dictate how artists are allowed to express themselves.

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater — Voices & Gameplay

Rendezvous Point: Rassvet Factory, deep in Soviet territory.

In the third episode of Metal Gear Solid: Legacy series David Hayter, the voice of Naked Snake, meets some old friends and shares more behind-the-scenes details for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.

I do have to say that this is an amazing reveal and glad that Jodi seems to have wanted to talk about Metal Gear Solid for a while now. Even if this might be the first time she was truly able to see and experience what she was able to contribute to such a massive IP out there. All of that is not to pull away from Lori and David’s performances too, but they had so many years to live it up in the open while others had to keep the family-friendly persona no matter what. Even from their own families in the worry that it would have been made public knowledge by accident. All of this makes me want to play and experience what Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is offering even if it is mostly the same game and story from before and helping another of the shady businesses keep up their practices by screwing over other artists…

Did you even know that Jodi was an original voice for Metal Gear Solid or was that something only very select people were able to figure out? What do you think was needed from them all to further bring the game into the modern age or was it mostly recording lines that did not age as well over the long gap? When will humans start to allow others to be free with their work and passion instead of focusing on image and the all-mighty dollar? Take those thoughts on down to the comment section and try to have a decent discussion. As more for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater sneaks on out there, we will pull it out of the box here for you. Please keep on checking back for those updates and the many others still to come.
