Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
Can your PC handle Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes or are you going to have to upgrade?
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is only twenty-seven days away and the specs have finally been revealed. So if you need to upgrade you better make it fast. Here is what this beast of a game will require your PC to have under the hood to make it play and feel just right.
Minimum Specifications:
- OS: Windows Vista 64-Bit or later
- Processor: Core i5 SandyBridge 4Core (4 Thread) 2.7GHz or above
- Memory: 4 GB RAM or above
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 650 or above
- DirectX: Version 11 or above
Recommended Specifications:
- OS: Windows Vista 64-Bit or later
- Processor: Core i5 SandyBridge 4Core (4 Thread) 2.7GHz or above
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or above
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 760 or above
- DirectX: Version 11 or above
My estimates for Ground Zeroes to run at 4K specifications:
- OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
- Processor: AMD FX 8Core 2.7GHz or above
- Memory: 16 GB RAM or above
- Graphics: 2x GeForce GTX 970 or above
- DirectX: Version 11 or above
- You will need a 4K monitor as well
Obviously you will need much higher specs to take advantage of the 4K support both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain will have. It will still be interesting to see the improved lighting and shadow resolution features being implemented for the PC version of these titles. I know I am eagerly awaiting the release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes to test it all out on December 8th.
