The release date for Metamorphosis is set down and you can expect to be playing Metamorphosis before the middle of August
The wait is almost over, as the release date for Metamorphosis has been set down and we will get to experience this Kafka-inspired title on August 12th. Yes, in only a few weeks from now we will be able to see just what Ovid Works has been working on here with this interesting looking title that will have us play as someone that is changed into and insect. Metamorphosis also looks to be one of the newer and interesting titles that All In! Games is bringing us on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. All the big players as usual right now.
To go with this announcement, as usual, we have a new trailer to see for Metamorphosis that gives us a little more insight into the game’s story and gameplay we will get to experience. It looks like there is going to be a larger society of insects we will have to navigate and a little more as to why we have been transformed into an insect in this story. Even if the specific insect we will be transformed into is a little ambiguous here. That does not detract from the cool look that Metamorphosis has and how we will need to sneak and platform around the vast world out there while answering some internal questions.
Metamorphosis — Release Date
Metamorphosis is coming to Steam and GOG, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on August 12! Preorder the game on Xbox One now to get a 10% discount. And that’s not all! Starting July 29, you can chart your path through the nooks and crannies of civilization in a free demo on Steam.
Will you be able to help Gregor find redemption?
Metamorphosis is a first person adventure set in a surrealist world where your newfound abilities are your last and only hope for redemption. Play as Gregor, turned into a tiny bug, and set out on an extraordinary journey to unravel the mystery of your transformation.
Will you be adding Metamorphosis to the growing list of video games that are coming out there or will you need to see more before that? What do you think we will all walk away with from the game here or will it just be another in the long list of platform and stealth games? Could we be reading into the wrong parts of all of this already and there be a deeper meaning we are all missing before launch? Let us and the world at large know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Metamorphosis, we will add it to the site for you. Be sure to keep checking in for all of that and more.
