Alan Wake 2
The gameplay for Alan Wake 2 is here as we gear up to see when we will be joining Alan Wake for a new story
The news and updates keep on flowing from the PlayStation Showcase with Alan Wake 2 getting some new gameplay to take in. Not only gameplay, but it looks as if Remedy Entertainment is ready to give us a different style of game that will help our pocketbooks a bit. That is, on October 17th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, we will be able to pick up Alan Wake 2 digitally only. A choice that is aiming to keep the game’s final price down as well as get it into our hands faster. As long as we are able to pre-load and the internet is not being fickle in our area. That is always going to be an issue with the state of the industry and digital games. At least they are thinking about us a little bit, though.
There we have the date and how we will experience Alan Wake 2, and now we get to see a bit of what we are going to get to experience in the game with some gameplay. Gameplay that looks like it will have us controlling a few different characters as we see a detective wandering about to find Alan in the mix of things. All with some amazing lighting and atmosphere built into it all too. Not much on the light and shadow mechanics from the original Alan Wake, but maybe that is all coming down the pipes later. Once we take control of the titular character again. If we do. This gameplay does make it feel as if we will not be controlling him at all and just following along with the story that is being written by him. An interesting concept and I am all in for it here.

Is this what you were expecting to see for Alan Wake to be doing in the gameplay here or is this a prologue to get us to the main game? How deadly will all of the monsters be and are we only seeing bosses and mini-bosses in this gameplay here? How well do you think the digital-only option will go down for us all and will there be some still crying out for a physical release at some point? Take it all into the comment section to discuss everything you are thinking about this. We will share everything we can for Alan Wake 2 as we get it, so please keep checking back in for all of those updates and everything else we can find to throw out on the site.
