Mortal Kombat 1
The second season of Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion is out there to give us all more Mortal Kombat in a different way
The Season Of The Blood Moon is underway with the next Invasions of Mortal Kombat 1 in full swing out there. I am sure that if you have been constantly playing this new title from NetherRealm Studios, you will have seen all of that and might have even jumped right into it all. For those who took a little break and have just been waiting for the DLC to drop on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, it might be time to pick up Mortal Kombat 1 again. Given that all of this will be going away on December 11th to make way for the next wave. Not to mention that it looks like it will be offering up some other kinds of fun in the mix as we give it all a go too.
For those, like myself, that have been left out of the Mortal Kombat 1 loop, this new season of content for the game has Nitara invading the realms and offering up new experiences in the invasions mode. A whole new map for us to explore in the game that will have all of the new challenges that should be expected too. All of that so we can dig into other fights with new skins for all of our Mortal Kombat 1 fighters. Well, at least for a good portion of the fighters if we go on what this new trailer for it all shows us. All of them covered in more blood to fit in with the vampire theme of it all. That is what Nitara is all about, so it makes perfect sense that is what we get here. Have a look and see what is out there and make sure to gather up all of those extra bonuses in the mix.
Mortal Kombat 1 — Invasions Season 2
Invasions Season of the Blood Moon is underway! Be sure to take down the invading Nitara and add her blood-filled rewards to your kollection before the season ends on December 11.
It’s In Our Blood. Discover a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by Fire God Liu Kang. Mortal Kombat 1 ushers in a new era of the iconic franchise with a new fighting system, game modes, and Fatalities!
While it is nice to get some new things like this in Mortal Kombat 1, it does make me wonder about those who had to wait to get into the game. I know a few out there who were waiting or needed to wait for a reason or another to pick up the game. Given that this all ends in a few weeks, what happens to those who had to wait until the holiday season to get access to the core game? I have a feeling that this will all be offered up again down the line, but having timed events like this in games like Mortal Kombat feels like it is something that only benefits those who can afford the time and money when the developer dictated and not as the community should be offered. Then again, this was made to make money too, so they have to do what they have to do so they can get more people into the game sooner instead of later.
Are you already unlocking all of these skins for your Mortal Kombat fighters or did you need to know so you could jump back in? How long will it be before they run this invasion again or will those that still needed to wait be screwed over to never get the fun blood-soaked suits? Do you feel timed events are good for titles like this or should they only be timed for when they release and then left open for all to enjoy when time and money allow for it? Head to the comments to discuss all of that and fight it all out. There is more to come for Mortal Kombat 1, and we will share it all with you here. Please keep on coming back to see and hear all of that as we march forward in the cycle of it all.
