Shortly after the last chapter launched for the anthology, we had the reveal of The Dark Pictures: The Devil In Me as it would be the final chapter in this season of the overall story. It came at the end of the last chapter, as they always have, but also gave us all little to go on beyond some creepy imagery and the knowledge it will be the final bit. Supermassive Games has let us all stew enough on it and now we have bit more for The Devil In Me along with an official trailer for this release. The trailer being something that can be seen at the end of the last game’s credits and placed out there in a bit of a lower quality since it was found. Just in case you wanted to see it in its full glory instead of the gamer presentation most may have had if they did not make it to the end as of yet.
The finer details for The Devil In Me are nice to look at, sure, but the real meat here is that we have a bit of what this story will be. Pardon that pun. It looks like we will be a documentary crew that has been invited to look at a replica of the H.H. Holmes Murder Castle. The crew heads out and soon finds that they are now the next victims in this copycat serial killer’s play hotel. Our choices will help them survive the horrors within and maybe make it out to a normal life again. Although, the title The Devil In Me and the familiar looks to some of the characters in the trailer could suggest that this whole anthology could be in the mind of this killer. More so when you notice the little things that link all of the chapters together and certain things spotted in this new video. I hope we do not have to wait too long to be able to solve all of this and see how it all comes to an end.
