New Details On Kingdom Hearts III & The Possible Kingdom Hearts 2.9

Kingdom Hearts III

A few little tidbits of Kingdom Hearts III have been ‘revealed’ via an ex-designer and some details on the rumored Kingdom Hearts 2.9

Depending on how you like to look at your LinkedIn “leaks” we may have a few new bits for Kingdom Hearts III as well as the rumored Kingdom Hearts 2.9 that was once seen and then vanished from existence. Yes, it looks like someone over at Square Enix has updated their LinkedIn profile and let slip what they happened to have worked on for Kingdom Hearts III and mentioned they worked on Kingdom Hearts 2.9. Of course this is if you believe the user account is not fabricated and 100% accurate; although this would show why said person could be looking for a new job now.

This was all spied and “researched” by a site named KH13.com who says they can pretty much confirm that this account isn’t fabricated and we can take all of these Kingdom Hearts III tidbits a little serious but I’ll still hold my reservations until Square Enix or Disney give us the true lowdown on it all. That includes the fact that there is a prequel-like title hitting the last gen systems when Kingdom Hearts III is next gen only. Maybe it’s just me that this would point the wrong direction to me. Then again it could be a nice “transition” title for those PS3 gamers who want to make the jump to PS4 with Kingdom Hearts III.

You can see the full posting below but some of the features brought up for Kingdom Hearts III in the post is that the Gummi ship is coming back again and that there may be some form of multiplayer. The Gummi ship makes complete sense given the Kingdom Hearts history to use it but the multiplayer seems a little odd and interesting if this is true. Would this mean that other players could join the team in Kingdom Hearts III instead of all AI controlled from before? I’m not sure if that would play out well or not. I guess we’ll all see if this does turn out to be all fact and not fiction.
