Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Unveils More Of The Campaign For Us

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2

The story kicks off for our Nickelodeon stars for the upcoming Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 dropping soon

Those looking to have a campaign in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 can now sit pretty knowing we have our first look at just that. Yes, it is a new way to play as Fair Play Labs gears things up for the November 7th release of the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Now, it looks as if all of our Nickelodeon characters are going to be able to play things out in a new way in a full story campaign. A story campaign that is going to unfold for us all in a bit of a roguelike manner. Yep, here we go with that bit of gameplay getting added into the mix for this brawling title out there.

In the campaign, we will have to bring down Vlad Plasmius as he wreaks havoc on all of the various Nickelodeon characters out there and their different corners of the universe. Each as we unlock more of the skills and powers along the way and in the modes we would expect from the brawler already. It does look as if all of the various Nickelodeon worlds and characters are going to be brought into this one, so there is that to keep us going on this little story. Thankfully, it does not seem like it is something that will be needed for everyone to fully enjoy what the game has to offer on the basic level out there too.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 — Campaign

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 comes with all new ways to play, including a roguelike story campaign!

GameMill Entertainment and Nickelodeon present a first look at the original campaign of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, launching digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on November 7! Brawlers can also get a peek at the eclectic cast of characters joining the fun in the Season Pass post-launch.

In the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 campaign, it’s up to you to defeat Danny Phantom’s archvillain Vlad Plasmius as he wreaks havoc across the Nickelodeon universe. Master your skills, unlock unique power-ups, fight fearsome foes, meet unexpected allies, and journey through an exciting roguelike campaign as your favorite Brawlers.

If you’re looking for additional single-player fun, jump into the arcade mode, minigame modes like “Pop the Slime Balloons” and “Whack-a-bot,” and a boss rush mode featuring the exhilarating and unique bosses featured throughout the campaign. For Brawlers seeking an extra challenge, these single-player modes feature a speedrun option to test your skills and achieve the fastest possible times!

I am a bit confused on why they are going this way for the story in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 when other methods have been tried and true for the fighting and brawler settings. This is definitely off-putting for one who does not enjoy the roguelike or rogue-lite gameplay in general when it comes to any video game out there. I know I was excited to see what was coming for us with the last Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl out there, but this one makes me want to hold off a bit. I can already get the good brawl on in a different title and having a campaign that I, most likely, will not play is not a way to sell me further on the game.

How do you feel about the story we are going to get here for our Nickelodeon characters? Do you like the idea that it will be a roguelike out there or do you think it should be closer to how other titles are doing it? Will there be a way to get the basic story of it all in a different way or will we have to play it all out to get it in this title? Take to the comments and then discuss all of that as you so wish to do. We will share what we can for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 as we head towards the launch, so please keep on checking back here for those updates and many others.
