Night Call
The release date of Night Call on the PC and Xbox Game Pass is set down with Night Call hitting both of those in mid-July
You may have seen it at E3 in 2018 or during the Xbox Briefing at E3 2019, but now it looks like we have a release date for Night Call to look at in the mix. That is, if you were aiming to play the game on the PC or Xbox One as we have a release date for those platforms with it coming to the PS4 and Switch at a later point in 2019. If you do not fall in the latter category there, you can now look to see Night Call hit the PC via Steam and Xbox One via the Game Pass on July 17th. Not that far away, so there is some more to be excited about.
You can see some of Night Call in motion just below, but for those who want to know more, this is a neo-noir narrative game where we will be a taxi driver trying to figure out who the local serial killer is. The reason for this is that we have been accused of it given the 70+ passengers we have picked up and have met with a dark fate. It sounds like a little bit of a weird reason behind it all, but that is what we have for Night Call and how the story can play out. I guess we will know for certain when we are able to play in a few weeks now.
Night Call — Reveal Trailer
Night Call, a neo-noir narrative investigation game created by the talented folks at Monkey Moon and BlackMuffin and published by Raw Fury, is headed to Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC on July 17th and console later in 2019.
The developers have been meticulously creating the deep, personal stories of every passenger in-game as well as the beautiful noir aesthetic that brings modern day Paris to life in preparation for its launch in a few weeks.
A serial killer is loose, and the police suspect you, since you were the last person seen with the most recent victim. Do whatever you can in order to find the real killer or they will pin it all on you.
As a taxi driver, you meet new people every night. Do what you do best: get people to talk while they’re in the back of your cab. Listen carefully, for clues and info to help you pinpoint the killer. Who knows, maybe even the murderer will slip up…
Night Call explores gritty, mature themes as a dark reflection of real life in the City of Lights. Can you uncover the identity of the killer? A guilty suspect in one playthrough may be completely innocent in the next in this non-linear narrative game.
In each playthrough, you’ll encounter a multitude of characters from the pool of 70+ total characters available, each carefully crafted with gripping stories and detailed backgrounds. These meetings will help steer you toward unraveling the identity of this killer loose—but only if you ask your passengers the right questions…
Was Night Call on your radar before now or is it still something that you may be skipping for now? Do you think that we will always come to the same conclusion in the game or will there be branches based on the number of passengers we pick up? When do you think it will come out for the other platforms this year? We all want to know and you can tell us down in the comments. If there is more for Night Call, we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking in for those updates and much, much more.
