No Rest For The Wicked Reveals Something That Will Be On The Way

No Rest For The Wicked

There seems to be No Rest For The Wicked as we get the reveal of the next big title from the Ori studio with No Rest For The Wicked

If you were holding out hope that you were going to get another Ori title, you will still have to hold out, as it looks as if Moon Studios is working on something else. That something else being No Rest For The Wicked. A new action RPG that is slated for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it does finally launch out there. Not the reveal many out there might have been hoping for, but that does not mean we need to discount No Rest For The Wicked yet. It is just a new idea and coming from a solid team, so as we wait for the bigger reveal of the game, we can see the basics that will be coming at us when the game does fully launch out there.

Yes, this is an announcement for an announcement of sorts. We have some of the basics for No Rest For The Wicked with the main meat and potatoes getting showcased on March 1st, 2024. What we do have, though, is a look at some of the sea-faring visuals and basic action we will have in No Rest For The Wicked to get us all hyped up for the title. One that looks like it will lean into the action a bit more with the top-down style of gameplay and closer to the 2D side of things for the visuals. All with an unusual art style to help it all stand apart out there. Have a look and see just what is on the way to us all when this game does finally land out there.

No Rest For The Wicked — Reveal

From Moon Studios, the award-winning developers of Ori And The Blind Forest and Ori And The Will Of The Wisps comes No Rest For The Wicked, a visceral, precision ARPG with a bold new take on the genre. Coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Save the date: Wicked Inside showcase streams live on March 1, 2024.

I do have to say that the look of No Rest For The Wicked has caught my eye and I do hope that there are some better pirate-themed elements in this title. It feels like they are allowing the art team to stretch out a bit while also looking to keep things going in a format that will get as many gamers in for it. That is all surface thoughts, though, since we have to wait months to get any real news about No Rest For The Wicked out there. All of this kind of slows down any hype that could be had for the game. Like, why not just wait to make the announcement when you can just share everything with us? At least it is more than just a title card and then no update for years now…

Do you have any thoughts on No Rest For The Wicked as it all stands or do you need to see how things are going to shake out down the line before forming those? Would this have been better to info-dump all at once or will this build a little hype as we all wait for the next few months to sneak on by? How do you feel about the visuals of the game and will that be a bigger selling point for many out there as we get to the full launch of the game? Take to the comments to discuss all of this and everything else we have to offer up out there. We will have more for No Rest For The Wicked as we get it all, so please keep on coming back to see and hear it all. I have faith that we will get something good out of all of this.
