One More Character Was Hidden In Mortal Kombat X’s Kombat Pack

Mortal Kombat X

It looks like one more character has been leaked in the whole Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack debacle on the Xbox Marketplace

At the end of last week we had a whole bunch of characters listed out for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Pack. This was considered a “leak” when someone found the description of the pack up on the Xbox Marketplace. The big name listed here was Predator and then of course a video from NetherRealm came out showing off all of the characters coming to Mortal Kombat X via the DLC pack. That of course being Predator, Jason, Tremor, and Tanya. Apparently this wasn’t all that was detailed out in the Kombat Pack though.

We all know that Mortal Kombat X‘s Kombat Pack is going to bring along some skins for Klassic Characters in the franchise. One of the listed skins was for Jax who has all but confirmed by NetherRealm as we’ve seen images of the character in action for Mortal Kombat X. The other skin mentioned is for Lui Kang. You know, the icon of the franchise. The one character that would make Mortal Kombat X seem off if he wasn’t included in some manner or another. Why have a skin listed if he isn’t going to be a full character in the game? I can see reasons but none of them really point to him not being in the game like Jade.

I can see how we can have Mortal Kombat X without the staple character but seeing as so many other fan favorites are getting their showcasing in the game I think leaving Lui Kang out could be a misstep for NetherRealm. In many of the Kombat Kasts for Mortal Kombat X the developers have pointed out that they are trying to leave things a secret and leave surprises when we all get Mortal Kombat X on April 14th but I have a feeling after this we are going to get to see him in some kind of action soon. Just like the above trailer popped up once Predator became a huge thing in the media for Mortal Kombat X.

Do you think that I am off-base with this? Could Mortal Kombat X do without Lui Kang in the roster? Tell us all your juicy thoughts so we don’t have to get Scorpion to slice out your brain for us all to see down in the comments. We wouldn’t want that now would we?
