Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

The horrors of Poppy Playtime get to continue on the consoles, with the release date set for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

It’s been a few months, and the PC gamers have had their run at Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, now is the time that the console gamers will get to join in. Well, more on May 27th, as that is when Mob Entertainment will be bringing us all the game for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2. All so we can all descend further into the nightmares that Poppy Playtime has been giving us, and see what Playtime Co’s darkest past has to share with the world. More than we are going to share with the world, as I’m sure that they would rather not have any of that out there. I am off-topic now, and we can head back to what we have on the way. Chapter 5 and nightmares that The Prototype will twist us into.

If you somehow missed out on all of the build up to Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, it’s a new chapter in the story that will have us heading into the deeper parts of the company to figure out what has made all of these toys come to life and start bringing all of the horrors that they have been up to now. It looks as if it will The Prototype that we’ve mentioned before, along with some of the other scientists and researchers doing things that they probably shouldn’t have been. Along with the story, it looks like all of the basic gameplay controls and motions from Poppy Playtime will still be carried over, and with the updates that we’ve seen come down the line since the first chapter kicked off this horror franchise. One that seems to be the only one that has been able to hold its own against so many in this genre. For now, have a look and see just what this chapter will hold, if you haven’t already spoiled yourself with the PC gameplay out there.
