Project M Shows Us All How Much More Immersive It Is Going To Be Out There

Project M

A new look at Project M offers up a very cinematic look at the world Project M will be placing us into

Earlier in the year, we were introduced to ‘Project M’ and how the stylized look and feel of the game was going to fully try to immerse us into a cinematic world. A cinematic world that NCSOFT has fully filled with zombies and all manner of other enemies in the mix of it all. All so we can have a great meeting of gaming and narrative storytelling in the mix of it all. ‘Project M’ flew under the radar of many out there, but here we go with a new look at it all so we can all be further impressed. Impressed and waiting for the game to bring all of its fun to the PC and consoles when it is finally ready for us to experience. Get ready for some mind-blowing visuals here.

In this new clip for ‘Project M’, we have a segment of the game where our protagonist is running about a theme while being attacked from all sides. All with some of the movie-quality visuals and interactions that the Unreal Engine 5 has been able to offer up to the world before now. Only now we get to see it put to use in a video game and not just something in the background of a film or show. ‘Project M’ is damn impressive, so I will just let the gameplay speak for itself down below and get further excited for what could be coming down the pipeline here.

‘Project M’ — A Cinematic Interactive Adventure

NCSOFT wants you to immerse yourself in the cinematic world of ‘Project M’, where gaming meets the narrative depth of a movie. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, ‘Project M’ promises to deliver high-quality graphics and a level of realism that the team believes will blur the line between game and reality.

‘Project M’ aims to have Movie-Quality Graphics in an Interactive Adventure that will offer a unique and personal gaming experience.

While it is still possible to see some of the missteps in the footage for ‘Project M’, this is damned impressive for an early stage of the whole thing. It’s almost to the point that it feels like it could be pre-rendered out there and not actual gameplay. From the lighting to the angles of it all, it feels like many of the amazing action scenes we have had in films over the years. It is a little odd to see the character stop running partway through it all so we can make a choice in ‘Project M’, but it makes sense when all is said and done. At least for the gameplay to have a great narrative for us to explore.

Are you as surprised by what we have here for ‘Project M’ or do you think you have just watched a movie instead? Do you think it will run this smoothly across all platforms or will this be something only PC gamers will truly experience? Do you think there will be a better way implemented for some of the gameplay functions down the line or will we need to have it run this way to make sure we have time to make those split choices in the game? Take to the comments to discuss all of that and everything else we can offer out there. We will share anything else we get for ‘Project M’, so please keep on coming back for all of that and more.
