A bit more of the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s story is revealed on how this will try to be a different Ratchet & Clank than we have had before

The almost launch party keeps going for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with the next, and maybe final, video for it all and this one brings along a bit more story to enjoy. Not all of the story, as Insomniac Games does want us to play, but a little bit of the story to get us all ready for June 11^th. Some of us will be able to experience it all on our PS5 and others will have to sit back and watch videos of those playing it on their PS5. No matter the case, we have a bit of story to enjoy now for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and get us all ready to wait a few more weeks to see if it will all pay off. Given the pedigree of the developer, I am sure it will but there is always doubt out there when it comes to any title we have been waiting for.

Which, is something many are going to have to do to get more of the story for this Ratchet & Clank, as this story trailer does not offer up more that we did not already know so far. Ratchet & Clank have a dimensional energy issue, it is causing some rifts out there, Nefarious is taking advantage of this, and that is about it. We do get to see that there will be some kind of sheep person in the game with one of the final shots but there is not much in the way of the story to get hyped about here. A very odd choice to go with for a story trailer of things here, yet great at making sure there is nothing spoiled for those looking to go in as blind as possible. Maybe we will see more in the coming weeks, but I fear this is going to be the big highlight until the live gameplay starts flowing.

Were you expecting to get more for this Ratchet & Clank story before launch or did it feel like we were getting more of the hype stuff over the last few videos? Could this have been to keep the story unspoiled until launch and could they have gone with a different form to do this? Does it matter at all and you will still be playing the game as soon as it launches in a few weeks?
