Resident Evil 6 May Be Shambling Onto The PS4 And XB1

Recently published game ratings for Resident Evil 6 have shown up and point to Resident Evil 6 making the jump to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

If it is to believed, we may be seeing Resident Evil 6 hitting the PS4 and Xbox One sometime in the not too distant future. Capcom has yet to make any kind of announcement about a port or HD move from the older consoles to the newer ones but Resident Evil 6 has been rated by the Korean Game Rating Board so it looks like it could happen. At least if the Biohazard 6 that they have rated is actually Resident Evil 6 and not some hidden government experiment that no one should know about yet. Wouldn’t that be crazy and scary all at the same time? They really didn’t like The Interview did they?

There is a little merit to this and possibly seeing Resident Evil 6 on the current-gen systems though. At least based on this ratings board as they did “leak” Resident Evil: Revelations HD before Capcom made the official announcement. Then again this would add another Resident Evil game to the growing list of HD remasters, re-releases, and titles that they have slated already. Also I can think of other titles that deserve to make the leap instead of Resident Evil 6 here. Can anyone say Resident Evil 4 here? I know I can and it even shares characters across the two titles. It has hit every other system already why not the PS4 and XB1?

As I stated times over though none of this is an official announcement that Resident Evil 6 is getting ported out to the current-gen systems. There are some great points in favor of that but until Capcom gives the official word all we can do is sit and wait. Now that the cat is clawing at the edge of the bag though we may be seeing this Resident Evil 6 announcement a lot sooner than later. At least if they want to stay on top of everything and control the flow of information. Just in the Umbrella way…
