Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition

We Sit down and review Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. A re-master of last gen’s action packed underrated shooter. Here’s our Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition review

The story in Bulletstorm follows Grayson Hunt, a rouge assassin out for revenge against his commander, but this takes a turn for the worst when they crash land on a violent resort planet filled with rival gangs and other dangers. Grayson then must fight for a way off the world to survive.

Bulletstorm is an action packed first-person shooter; think of DOOM’s frantic gameplay meets Borderlands‘ humor then you will have an idea of what to expect. One of the best features of Bulletstorm is the Skill Kill mechanic that scores you based on the creative ways you kill you enemies. There are many different kill shots in game such as impaling an enemy on a cactus, sending them into an electric source, or even blowing them up with a hot dog cart just to name a few. Scoring high with the Skill Kills will allow you to upgrade you weapons with charge shots and resupply your ammo for your weapon.

The Full Clip Edition includes updated graphics which make the environments and the games level design really stand out over the original version of Bulletstorm. One of the best new features in the Full Clip Edition is the new Anarchy Mode that unlocks after beating the game on any difficulty. Anarchy Mode unlocks every weapon in the game from the start of the game and allows you to carry every weapon at once. The mode even unlocks unlimited ammo once you complete every Skill Kill associated with said weapon. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition also includes a few new Echo Maps with all the DLC from the original release. With all the polish the Full Clip Edition isn’t perfect. With my time playing I encountered a few frame rate issues and even some hard freezes which required restarting the game.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is an excellent re-master of an underrated last gen shooter. The game is defiantly worth checking out if you missed out on the original release even with the few issues with the frame rate. Bulletstorm will provide hours of balls to the wall action. Hopefully this re-master will give People Can Fly a reason to make the long overdue sequel.
