Robocop: Rogue City Takes Us Onto The Streets Again With New Gameplay

Robocop: Rogue City

New gameplay for Robocop: Rogue City is out there now with a look at how it will feel to be in the role of Robocop

We had a bit before and now we get to go even further into Detroit with Robocop: Rogue City. The Detroit that we have seen take a massive turn for the worse in the setting of the IP and that Teyon is going to amplify up for us all. That is, to make things interesting for us in a video game setting while still holding onto the darkness of the Robocop universe. It is one where things have progressed so far in society that we need to bring back fallen cops into cyborg bodies while dispensing some hyper-violence in the mix too. So, it is time to get us ready for September to roll up so we can see how this will all flow on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

This new gameplay for Robocop: Rogue City dives further into the shooting and combat than we have had before. It is something we are going to get to see a lot of, as I think more criminals are going to want to come in dead instead of alive. A weird choice, but then we would have a boring video game if we were just handing out tickets around town instead. Even if that looks like it is an option to do too. I have a feeling more are going to try to fight Robocop more than anything, though. Just as we will always be fighting for these smaller studios to be able to up their games with better visuals. That is something that feels like it is lacking when it comes to our targets, but there is still a lot of time until the mentioned release window and now. Figures are crossed that we will see that shift as we get closer to the end date here.

Robocop: Rogue City — Gameplay Overview

Welcome to Detroit; crime runs rampant as the city lies on the edge of ruin, people fighting for scraps as others live extravagant lives of luxury.

Control of the Detroit Police Department is given to the Omni Consumer Products corporation in an attempt to restore order. You are that solution, Robocop, a cyborg tasked with protecting the city.

Robocop: Rogue City will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Do you like how things are looking here and are they grimy enough for the Robocop setting that we have had over the years? Do you think the NPCs need a little work or will it only be when we slow down for videos that we will see some of those issues flow through? How many gamers are going to go out there and just be a parking enforcer in the game or will that only be a small thing until the bullets start flying? Head on into the comment section to discuss all of this and let the world know what you are thinking. There should be more for Robocop: Rogue City in the coming months, so please keep checking in for all of that and everything else that we have to share with the gamers out there.
