Rumor: Batman Arkham Remaster Could Be On The Way

A new survey online may be pointing more to Batman Arkham Remaster being a real thing to bring Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham franchise to the next gen systems

This isn’t the first time and I am sure it won’t be the last until we get complete confirmation that Batman Arkham Remaster is not going to be a thing…but there are new rumors that claim it is true. This would be a next gen collection of the titles Rocksteady put out, Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City, all bundled up and with better visuals. Just as all remastered collections would go and why not the Batman Arkham franchise here as there are so many doing the same thing? None the less this Batman Arkham Remaster rumor is just that so there is no word of anything hitting the PS4 and/or Xbox One anytime soon.

This new rumor comes from a user on NeoGAF that claims they were part of a survey that could be bringing just that in the way of Batman Arkham Remaster…or Batman Arkham Anthology…or Batman Arkham Legacy…or…well you get the idea. Sadly though in the world we live in today where everyone wants some kind of internet fame this new survey could be nothing more than a clever fake to gain a name and upset many gamers who truly want a Batman Arkham Remaster or whatever you want to call it. So do take all of that with some salt here.

The only thing that kind of gives this Batman Arkham Remaster rumor any kind of merit would be the fact that some have seen moderators on the official forums purging any references posted or talked about on the site from existence. This could just be nice clean up to keep rumors from turning into wildfire for something that is never in the plans or it could be some low level cover-up for Batman Arkham Remaster so they can make a huge announcement sometime before Batman Arkham Knight hits. Sadly though that is only a few weeks out from now so that seems to be less and less likely. Then again, what do I know?
