Saints Row Will Have Us Dance To A Song Of Ice & Dust

Saints Row

The final DLC for Saints Row is here with us diving into some new LARP just for Saints Row

Great things always come to an end, and for this we will look at the last expansion on its way to Saints Row as of today. Not that it is being announced as of today, but that you can add it to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC version of the game that you currently have as of today. Yes, Volition has wrapped it all up and dropped it out there for us to experience the last major story bit that Saints Row has to offer us all. This one is a doozy with us diving further into the weirdness of the game and that of LARP out there too. Get ready to gingerly touches sword tips before battle now…

Just as the LARP theme suggests, this new DLC for Saints Row will be offering up all manner of new weapons and gear to go along with the fantasy-style setting that the crew is playing into for the story. Even if it would be fitting to go with a post-apocalypse LARP over a fantasy one, but it is what it is. Given that the guns have all been altered to be paintball and everything else altered for player safety in the world of Saints Row, I guess it is what it is for now. A high-fantasy setting where we will have to overcome the powers of the Chill Queen while digging further into the meta-game of it all. Have a look at the bit of a teaser we have and see if you will be opting to purchase it if you did not already get the bigger bundles for Saints Row before now.

Time to kick serious asseth.

I will have to say, this does feel like a little bit of a letdown when it comes to the final DLC for Saints Row. I would have thought that the teams would have wanted to wrap up a bigger story or give us one more adventure into the world before moving on, but here we have a story within a story and one that is not overly fitting. Then again, the past Saints Row titles have done something similar and spawned a full spin-off title from it all, so maybe this is what they are going for. It would be an easy move to keep making more content using what already works for Saints Row instead of diving into a full, new title to work on. Time will only tell for us all at this point.

Is this how you thought all of the content for Saints Row would be wrapped up or is this a nice and fun way to end this cycle? Will we get to use any or all of these items in the main game in a New Game+ mode or will it only be for the DLC chapter here? Could we see a full spin-off from this come about, like Gat Outta Hell, or will it just pin this until the next big entry is released? Take to the comment section and discuss all of this as you so wish to. If we have more to share for Saints Row, it will be on the site for you. Please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of that as we march forward into the next cycle for the IP.
