Save Humanity In A Different Way With The Announcement For Terminator 2D: No Fate

Terminator 2D: No Fate

The Terminator is coming back for us all with the announcement we have here for Terminator 2D: No Fate

It is really starting to look like there is no fate for Sarah Connor out there as we have another run at the IP with Terminator 2D: No Fate. A new title that has been announced by Reef Entertainment with Bitmap Bureau helming all of the development for it. All so we can relive more of the world of Terminator 2 again, but in a vastly different way than one would originally think. That is, this is going to be a 2D side-scroller for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All when the game fully launches out into the world on September 5th of this year. A good bit of time from now, but given how time works here, it will most likely fly by, or we will all die in a terrible fireball well before then…

As you can see in the following announcement video for Terminator 2D: No Fate, we are getting a classic-feeling title out there that will walk us through the major events of the story in the film. All with the classic 16-bit visuals and style of games from the early ’90s. We will take up the various roles in the scenes and play them out by shooting, sneaking, and doing other various things to make sure all of the saviors of humanity stay alive still. Along with the basic missions, there will be some boss fights, but given that the story of Terminator 2 was mostly the police and the T-1000, it is hard to say how else that might be changed up here. It does look as if those future sequences in the story might be played out too, so there could be other robots we need to take down along the way. It is just a weird choice to go with all around, but it is still something we are getting after the film hit theaters so many decades ago. Yeah… let that part sink in a bit now…

Will this game let us fight different Terminator models, or will it aim to stick as close to the source as possible instead? How many different bosses and enemies will we actually face in the game, and will it be more than the T-1000 and various police or security guards in the mix? Will this game truly shine with the extra modes that will be coming, so we do not have to keep reliving the story over and over? March on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we have to share with the world. It feels like we have seen so much for Terminator 2D: No Fate already, but we will bring everything else that we can find for it along the way. There are still quite a few months until the full release of the game, so there could be some drastic things changed and updated along the way.
