Second Extinction
New gameplay for Second Extinction is here and it shows off how some of the missions and action will play out in Second Extinction
I know I have been waiting for some solid gameplay to come out for Second Extinction and it looks like the wait is about over, as that is what has been offered up to us here today. Even if it is all in an early form before Systemic Reaction gives gamers a chance to take on all of these dinos in the Early Access and then release on PC and Xbox systems. I mean, who has not been waiting for a good dinosaur shooter in the video game realm for a while now? Now it is time to see if Second Extinction is going to be able to offer something close to that as of now and if we should be holding on for the ride it can bring. We do have a good seventeen minutes of it all to help show off how it could be going.
As far as early footage for games goes, what we have here for Second Extinction does offer up some interesting hopes for the game as we move forward. It looks like the core gameplay loop of it all is set and rather straightforward as shooters go. My only main concern is that all of the dinosaurs feel like they are just mindless killing machines and not anything indicative of how they should be reacting in the game. Sure, Second Extinction is dealing with modified versions of them all, but the AI does not make them feel like they are anything more than mindless killing drones. This could be due to the fact that it is early on, but it just feels like everything is always set to “Rush The Player” and not using any kind of true animal instincts that they should be using. All of which is something I hope we get to see changed up a bit as development finalizes.

Have you been waiting to sink your teeth into Second Extinction or will it be on the burner until a full release is there?
