Detroit: Become Human
Another gameplay walkthrough for Detroit: Become Human happened during the PSX and we get to see the devs be successful in Detroit: Become Human
There was no chance of having the PlayStation Experience this year without adding in the fun of Detroit: Become Human. Especially with it still slated to release during the first half of 2018 as long as there are no hiccups for Quantic Dream or anything. It is still possible, but that does not change the fact that there was a chance to check out the same old game demo we have been getting since E3 for Detroit: Become Human. The big twist here is that the team showed off a more successful version of the demo that they have in the past. As well as showing off a few more parts of how everything in the game will interact and change things as we go through them all.
I say all of that, but what I mean by more successful is that even though this is the same demo for Detroit: Become Human that has been shown for half a year, the team has never played the events out to a successful mission. At least not that I have personally seen. I have seen other gamers who sat down at the controls do so and get the same results that you can see below, but never the developers. If you missed out on all the fun of the PlayStation Experience though, you may have missed out on that but thankfully we are “archiving” all of the videos of the world now and you can experience this walkthrough of Detroit: Become Human and see yet another way the scene could play out. All with the help of the crowd.
Detroit: Become Human — Gameplay Walkthrough
Detroit: Become Human gameplay walkthrough from the PlayStation Experience 2017
As I said, this is the same demo we have had many times for Detroit: Become Human. I have personally seen instances where players were able to unlock all of the options that we did not get to see Quantic Dream use here. At least in terms of dialog trees and such. There are many other clues that can be found in the apartment here and they can be used to our advantage. I have not seen how the “on the clock” part of the demo plays out. I am going to guess there is a hidden timer somewhere that will result in the robot just killing the girl and jumping, but there has never been a huge sense of urgency directly displayed just yet. Maybe in the final build of the game or in other means besides the few random shots we see fired here.
I do kind of hope we get videos like this for some of the other parts of Detroit: Become Human to see how things can play. It is easy to put all of this in the eyes of a “detective” to use and uncover, but there are other characters we will be controlling in the game and it would be nice to see how they piece things together. Hells, they may not even have that ability and we will have to decide “off the cuff” instead of getting a full picture. If we get to see before launch at all. This could all still be hidden due to how it all factors into the overall game and story while this one scene has only a slight impact at all.
What do you think of the outcome we were able to see here for Detroit: Become Human? Do you think that there is a way to not need to shoot the robot or will it always need to end in its death and the true deviation is based on the young girl living or dying? Which other characters in the game would you like to see get a full “demo” to show off how they function in the world given their current state of affairs? Let us all know down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Detroit: Become Human in any way though, be sure to keep checking back in here. We will keep all of the updates coming at you and you will be glad you kept checking in.
