Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Not all of the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End E3 demo was shown to the world during the Sony Press Conference but we have that second half of the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End goodness just for you
I’m going to start this off with a small spoiler alert that not everyone at E3 gets to see the same demo and that was also the case when it came to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End demo shown to the world during the Sony conference. Not to out of the norm as the powers that be like to give news sites and publications a little more to look at to spice up their coverage; not that Naughty Dog really needs any extra spice for Uncharted 4 here but that seems to always be the norm in the recent years. I could go on and on all day about that here but that isn’t why we are here right now as we have something nice to look at for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End instead.
What would that be? Well the second half of the Uncharted 4 E3 demo that was only shown to VIPs and press behind the doors of E3. Yes, the demo we saw during the press conference went on a bit longer after Nathan slams into the wooden barricade and we faded to the title screen. I mean we could have assumed that as the case as this was a nice little section from Uncharted 4 being shown and it would be dumb to think that was it for the level. There was just a nice seven minutes more prepared to be shown and thankfully it hasn’t stayed hidden for too long as it was shown off today (7/1/15). Not only that but we have it just a bit lower down the page just for you.
I fully recommend watching the whole Uncharted 4 demo in action as Naughty Dog has done an amazing job but if you want to skip to all the new stuff you can hop on to the seven minute and twenty three second mark (7:23) which is about where the first showing ended and the new portion begins. Have a good look and enjoy everything we have for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End now.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End — Sam Pursuit Gameplay
I can fully see the new team’s involvement on Uncharted 4 making its way into the game here and I am fully enjoying it. I do have a few reservations about the way that the vehicle transition for the enemy vehicle is handled but that could just be how I am seeing things. None the less it is an amazing sequence and I can only imagine how intense it will be to play through all of these sections. It is odd though that Uncharted 4 is yet another title that uses the vehicle traversal, I’m talking from one car to the next, as a main gameplay mechanic and feature. I’m not completely sold on it yet but it looks like a great addition to the industry and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Hopefully we will have a bit more for Uncharted 4 in short order but Naughty Dog has a lot to work on to get it out so I am okay with a nice break in between. We will have all of the updates for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as they are doled out so keep the browser tuned here to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Until then tell us all what you thought about the second half of the Uncharted 4 E3 demo down in the comments.
