Shadow Of The Colossus
New in-game footage for Shadow Of The Colossus is here and it also comes with a date we can expect this Shadow Of The Colossus remake to hit us
Get ready to mark your calendars as we now have a release date for the remade version of Shadow Of The Colossus on the PS4. It has now been set down as February 6th of 2018 as Bluepoint Games has been working around the clock to make sure we get a version of the game that we have been waiting. Not the remastered version we had a little while back, but a ground-up remake that will not only be changing the visuals for the better but also some of the core game systems. Do not lie to yourself and say that Shadow Of The Colossus has always been a perfect game since it first launched. If it was, then you may want to steer clear of this version of the game; or at least open your mind.
In addition to the release date, we also have a nice new trailer for Shadow Of The Colossus that shows off a lot of horseback riding and traveling. I do mean a lot as it is all that we have here besides a good look at just how amazing the game is going to look on those PS4 Pros and 4K TVs next year. If you have been holding off, it may be time to go out and pick these items up so you can fully enjoy this remake. That or just know what the game can bring you and enjoy it for the game and not the visuals. You know your likes and dislike so I will leave that up to you.
Shadow Of The Colossus — PGW 2017 Trailer
We are happy to confirm that Shadow Of The Colossus for PlayStation 4 will launch on February 6, 2018.
As we stressed during our E3 2017 unveil, Shadow Of The Colossus on PS4 is not a port or remaster. The beloved all-time classic has been completely rebuilt by the highly regarded team at Bluepoint Games. They are no stranger when it comes to reintroducing gems of PlayStation’s past for new generations of gamers to experience; their reputation for faithful, beautiful restorations precedes them.
In addition to Shadow Of The Colossus having it visuals and landscapes remade, it looks like there will be some other tweaks coming along with it all as well. There have been a few story tweaks to give the overall feel of the game have a bit more fluidity and not just go from one boss fight to the next. In addition to that, it looks like the control scheme is being modified to fall in line with the industry standard as well. Do not worry if you are going to be a Shadow Of The Colossus purist as there will be settings in there to give you those classic controls that were the bane of many gamer’s existences. I know they were for me.
