Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Has Its Final DLC Out There To Bring Home

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider

The final DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider just dropped out there to open up more and all things in this Tomb Raider title as we wait for the next

Here we go with the final DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to bring us all home with. It has been one long ride since the game dropped and Eidos-Montréal has kept us all hooked and going with so many new updates and story bits with the DLC. But, just like all things, it had to come to an end and Lara has to head home. That would be the assumption here with the name of this DLC as it is The Path Home and it is fitting this Tomb Raider takes a break. That being in terms of the character and not the franchise in general. I hope that this all leads to another great installment into the franchise.

Unlike the other DLC and story bits we have had for Tomb Raider, this latest DLC does not have a flashy new trailer or anything to go on. In fact, it has a nice little trailer that only plays the music of the game and shows what is assumed to be one location from it all. It does unlock all of the extra modes for all of the other challenge tombs and adds in a few new abilities, but it feels like that is not the true focus here. Have a look at what I am saying just below and then get ready for the end of the era for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as we wait for the next big title. It has to be coming at us, right?

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider — The Path Home

Following the end of Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, the dust had settled and the battle seemed over. However, when allies go missing, Lara must search ancient tunnels to try and find them. Lara’s new journey features a brand-new challenge tomb, which contains a secret that’s been hidden for ages.

Also exclusive to the Season Pass are the new Midnight Sentinel outfit, which enables longer focus and perception durations, and the Silver Strike bow, which causes arrows to penetrate enemy body armor or even pierce multiple unarmored enemies. In addition, the new Magic Touch skill allows Lara to consume fewer resources when crafting on the go. Completing the Season Pass additions, Score Attack, and Time Attack are now playable for all tombs from the main game.

Are you ready for this Tomb Raider to come to an end in terms of new things? Do you suspect that this will all lead up to a new announcement that could be made this year at some point? Could this also mean that the developers are putting Lara to rest at her home for a bit to focus on a few other things in their inventory? Let us know what you are thinking on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. If there is anything more for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, or the franchise in general, we will have it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that as we move on.
